I have undertaken the role of Publicity Secretary for the University of Ulster Christian Union. This is a selection of promotional material.
UUJCU Website
I created this website from the ground up, and it is entirely CSS-driven. The site contains information regarding the organisation and also features an interactive message board where members can keep in touch with each other and can provide feedback on how the CU is performing.
Half Night of Prayer Poster
This is a poster that I made advertising a "half night of prayer". It involved significant image manipulation in Photoshop and took around 3 hours in total.
Social Poster
A poster I made to promote the social (party) the CU was holding. Bright and colourful to attract attention and to reflect the mood of the event.
down to earth
'down to earth' are a six-piece rock band from Ballymena who approached me to develop a website for them.

This site incorporates CSS, Flash, JavaScript and also features a highly popular phpBB message board. For this site I created a Flash music player and also set up a secure online shop for fans to buy CDs online. Since the site's launch in February 2005 it has obtained over one million hits.
University Portfolio
Two Minds
My award winning website for the Two Minds project. Two Minds was a project set up by both Arts & Business and the Royal Society of Ulster Architects to explore the collaboration between artists and architects. Our design class was asked to produce a website in groups, and this design was chosen as overall winner. The site features a phpBB forum, mailing list and Flash elements. My input included the branding, site design, and PHP coding.
3D Minidisc Player (1.2Mb)
This assignment involved using 3D Studio Max to create a 3D model and import it into Director in order to add functionality. This was my first experience at 3D modelling.
Pseudo-3D Flash model (1.8Mb)
Using the same object as the 3D Max model, we were required to create a Flash presentation that would simulate a 3D enviroment without involving modelling. This was achieved by photographing the object from 16 different angles and adding Actionscript to allow functionality.
Flash Phone Project (1.3Mb)
For this assignment we had to create an all-Flash website with controlled sound. The site was to demonstate a new mobile phone handset. My phone was a 'Generation One X5' business handset.
down to earth cd-rom (32Mb)
Using Macromedia Director, we were assigned to create an interactive CD-ROM. Again using down to earth as a primary focus, I created this cd-rom complete with pictures, video and audio. *Please note that video is not contained on this disc due to large file sizes*
Translink Poster
This is a poster I made to advertise Translink's new range of C3K trains. It was one of my first proper attempts at using Adobe Photoshop.
