Yeah the Macbook Air is a bit of a gimmick, especially at that price. Id happily carry around an extra few mm if it meant paying half the price. Back to Uni on Monday, was starting to get bored being off with not much to do.</description>

the macbook is just OK as far as ultra portable laptops go, we have a few ultra portables in work, none of which have optical drives, i guess if you are a business man, who goes to loads of meetings then then Macbook air might be OK, but not for regular laptop users like us... and the majority of people that use laptops...</description>
