I know it’s quite a serious issue but it’s hard not to laugh at this poor fellow. He’s having a really bad week:

A historic night for baseball. San Francisco Giants own Barry Bonds hit his 756th career home run tonight, more than any other player in the history of the sport. Going in to the game he was tied with Hank Aaron for the all-time home runs record. I’m really annoyed I missed it now, as the game was at the AT&T Park downtown. I watched the game on TV though. Should have seen the crowd, the guy who ended up catching the ball was literally mauled by about 100 people in the bleachers and was escorted by a dozen policemen from the stadium. He’s a lucky guy he got out alive!..

I’ve moved. Temporarily at the moment, until the end of August anyway. You can find my address on my Contact page, down near the bottom. As far as I know, I have a mailbox downstairs so I can now receive mail. Send me something!

Last night after work I remembered Rush were playing in Concord, over on the East Bay. I wasn’t really up to much yesterday evening, so I went on to Craigslist and scored a ticket for $20 (take that Andrew Boyd!). I met the guy selling it on the BART over to Concord which was handy.
Concord was absolutely roasting. I got there at about 6.45 and it must have been over 80°. I got the free bus over to the Sleeptrain Pavallion and was rather surprised. It’s literally in the middle of the Sierra Nevada mountains…

Yesterday I took the bus up north to Petaluma, which is a beautiful little suburban town on the edge of Sonoma County. It’s about 2 hours from San Francisco. I really only had one reason to go, it’s where the world headquarters of Mesa Boogie are.
Firstly, Petaluma seriously needs to invest in more buses. One every hour is really not on! I walked about 5 miles yesterday and still beat the bus! Anyway, after getting into Petaluma and finding the Mesa factory after an hour and a half (!!) I went in and asked if they did tours…
