I am a multimedia designer based in Belfast City, Northern Ireland. I specialize in web-based projects but am flexible enough to tackle most jobs. My strengths are in strong technical knowledge, problem solving, design flair and web standards.
I was born and have lived most of my life in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Since 2005 I have been studying for a BSc in Interactive Multimedia Design at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. I guess you could say that my design career took off right there. Within a very short space of time I found myself immersed in web development, and I have excelled in all aspects of this industry since.
I was fortunate enough to spend just over a year in San Francisco, California working for a small tourism company with the web marketing team. Living in the heart of the city that is world famous for it's web development industry and it's proximity to Silicon Valley was as great a career start as I could have hoped for. San Francisco is a spectacular city with great sunshine and the staggering views. Needless to say it was not easy to come back to Northern Ireland, and not surprisingly it was raining when I got home.
I've taken on a number of freelance projects over the last few years, and have worked closely with clients to get the best results. I'm a straight talker and clients appreciate that they can talk with me in a friendly, non-jargon way.
I love to travel and have been all over the world. I spent a total of 15 months in the USA, which gave me plenty of time to check out the surroundings. I drove the entire length of the California coast, visited Yosemite National Park, saw the Wine Country of Sonoma and Napa Valley and visited some other fantastic places like Chicago, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Boston and Washington D.C.
